Explorers is about wandering. It is about finding beauty in ordinary days, living with the art you collect, and giving those moments a place to live. It is a world of gentle trails, field notes, music, marks, and artifacts, where storytellers turn what they notice into something that can be kept, shared, and returned to.
The second city is central to Explorers: the familiar world seen again after you break routine and pay attention. It has its own Field Guide entry because it is the reason the trails exist.
Each journey moves through six Waypoints, from Awakening to Epiphany. Follow a trail, complete small acts of attention, collect art that belongs with the moment, and the world opens by degrees: a note in the Adventure Log, a rank earned, a Slate discovered, a new corner of the Codex waiting to be revisited. You may find these stories feel familiar, as if they have been quietly walking beside you all along.
Slates are the first artifacts you gather, but they are only one part of Explorers. In the Codex, Slates collect into an archive of story fragments and Waypoints. In the Trail Log, field notes and trail memories gather into a record of what you noticed along the way. In the Assembler, six Slates can assemble into a Prism. Prisms can stack into Cairns: collections of Slates that hold stories, shared voices, and paths worth finding again.
